The Calgary Italian school is a community that focuses on teaching conversational Italian as well as Italian culture and history.
Each year our dedicated staff and administration revise our program of studies to assure that planned activities are interactive and interesting for students.
We keep each of our courses focused on second language learning and Alberta Learning curriculum outcomes. A copy of “Scopriamo l’italiano” is available in the school office for consultation.
The Calgary Italian School offers students from 5 year old to grade 12 an introduction and learning experience to the Italian language and culture!
Courses are also offered to adults (beginner, intermediate and advanced levels). Upon completion of their courses, students of Italian 10, 20 and 30 receive credits through Alberta Learning. Children classes are held on Saturdays from 9:10 am to 12:00 noon.
Adult classes are available on Tuesday evenings (7:00 – 9:00 pm). All classes take place at the upper level of the Calgary Italian Cultural Centre from September to May.
